Gary Brunton, Daniel Beaussier, and Célestine de Williencourt form an exciting new trio in which multi-instrumental performance, vocals, and improvisation play a central role. Their music is narrative-driven and lyrical, offering a fresh perspective on contemporary jazz and creative improvised music.
The trio’s debut album, Look North, is a journey through original compositions that evoke the vastness of the North and the atmosphere of open landscapes. At the same time, the music invites listeners on a voyage of discovery into a sonic world that combines sensitivity, freedom, and a strong melodic sense.
