The school big band, SVoM, will perform a concert at Vesturbæjarlaug swimming pool on Sunday, August 30 at 12:00.

The band will perform under the direction of Samúel Jón Samúelsson. It's the perfect opportunity to enjoy a relaxing visit to the pool while listening to the excellent young musicians of SVoM.

Later in the day, Reykjavík Jazz Festival will continue with a packed programme of concerts and events. More information can be found on the Reykjavík Jazz Festival website.

This event is supported by the National Museum of Iceland and the Ministry of Culture, Innovation and Higher Education. The concert is part of "Pool Summer 2026", a programme launched following the inscription of Icelandic swimming pool culture on UNESCO's Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
