Anna Gréta is a pianist, vocalist, and composer who has gained recognition across the Nordic countries and beyond. She has released the albums Nightjar in the Northern Sky (2021) and Star of Spring (2024) through ACT Music and has won the Icelandic Music Awards three times. She has established herself as one of the most compelling jazz artists of her generation.
Silva Þórðardóttir has for many years been among Iceland’s most celebrated jazz vocalists and won the Icelandic Music Award for Jazz Singer of the Year this year. She is one half of the popular duo Silva & Steini alongside Steingrímur Teague. Together they have released three albums over the past four years, and their music has been streamed around six million times worldwide. Silva regularly performs with the collective Jazzkonur and many of Iceland’s leading jazz musicians. She released her debut solo album Skylark in 2019, and her second album, Þá uxu blóm, is set for release this autumn.
Ómar Guðjónsson is a guitarist, bassist, and pedal steel player who has collaborated with a wide range of musicians and bands since his teenage years, including groups such as ADHD and Lón. He has taken part in numerous concerts and recording projects both in Iceland and internationally. Ómar has released six solo albums under his own name, and last year he released 210, which received an Icelandic Music Award. He has been honoured with the award several times over the past 13 years.
