Pianist Kári Egilsson and bassist Nico Moreaux perform at Hotel Holt. They have developed a close musical partnership, performing together frequently. Kári and Nico will perform a set of original music as well as new arrangements of some of their favorite tunes. 

In 2023 Kári released his debut jazz album, Óróapúls as well as a pop album, Palm Trees The Snow. Kári was named the most promising young musician at the Icelandic Music Awards the following year. Next year, Kári will release a new album of original jazz music with Nico on bass, as well as some of the best musicians in Iceland. 

Nico Moreaux is a French bassist and composer who has played with internationally known musicians like Chris Cheek, Tigran Hamasyan, Jorge Rossy and Jeff Ballard as well as a wide array of musicians in Iceland and beyond.
