Frelsissveitin premieres a new work by Haukur Gröndal — a piano concerto written for Davíð Þór Jónsson and the orchestra.

The work is approximately 50 minutes long and unfolds across seven movements. Audiences can expect a wide range of colors and textures, combining free improvisation with composed sections. Each voice within the ensemble is given space to shine through the telepathic interplay of some of Iceland’s finest improvising musicians.
